African Quilt Squares: Large 11" x11" to outside edge with aprox. 1" black border

These charming hand-embroidered quilt squares portray a scene from village or township life. Each is one of a kind. They show mothers and grandmothers caring for children, visiting the clinic, and carrying babies on their backs. Hand stitched with hand dyed threads onto African cotton. Each has a 2” border around the embroidery and can be used in wall hangings, sewn onto shopping bags, the back of a jacket or into cushion covers.
